Concert: 200 Years Old Italian Music Masterpieces- 10.10.2019
As part of the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Erasmus Teaching Mobility program, guest academics Flavio Maddonni and Antonino Maddonni from the Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, Italy, performed a concert titled “200 Years of Italian Music Masterpieces” on 10 October 2019.
The concert was held at the OMU State Conservatory Concert Hall. Flavio Maddonni (violin) and Antonino Maddonni (guitar) performed works by prominent Italian composers, including Niccolò Paganini, Francesco Molino, and Rossi, as well as compositions by Antonino Maddonni and Astor Piazzolla.
During their stay in Samsun, the duo also gave masterclasses in violin and guitar for students from the OMU State Conservatory and the Music Education Department of the Faculty of Education at OMU.
