Who Are We?
Ondokuz Mayıs University State Conservatory is an educational institution that provides undergraduate and graduate education in the departments of Music, Performing Arts, Musicology, and Turkish Music. The State Conservatory, established in 1993, has seven professors, four associate professors, four assistant professors, seven lecturers and one research assistant. We currently have 120 students.

What About Our Qualifications and Academic Vision?
The state conservatory has a strong and competent faculty staff. With our academicians' high knowledge and skills, our Conservatory aims to train well-equipped students in the field of music and performing arts. The awards and achievements of our academics and students at home and abroad indicate that we will carry this goal forward.

Our Conservatory has a concert hall that our students can benefit from and study rooms where they can study individually.

After their graduation, our students are employed in private or public institutions and organizations that provide services or training in the field of music.
What Exchange Programs Do We Offer to Our Students?
The State Conservatory supports Erasmus, Farabi and Mevlana student exchange programs, and education opportunities are provided in the countries and schools that our University has agreements with. Opportunities to improve language skills are provided through student exchange programs. We have agreements with Denmark, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia and Spain with the Erasmus Exchange Program. With these programs, our students integrate the art education they receive with the culture and art of different countries
In What Ways Do We Support the Professional, Cultural and Social Atmosphere?
There are two types of association structures classified into professional and social categories within the body of our University. Professional associations are specific to faculties, while social associations are of a general nature. In this context, OMU, with a total of 51 associations from photography to agriculture and cycling to chess, offers the institutional background necessary to create the atmosphere that will enable our students' study spaces and cultural development in the social field with 93 communities. Our students have carried out many activities and organizations with the associations. Ondokuz Mayıs University perceives its students as primary stakeholders and always supports new association proposals that will enable their development.
The State Conservatory supports reaching society and directing our students to social activities with the cultural and artistic activities it organizes and participates in. Together with our students, we contribute to ensuring the continuity of these activities and increasing the art and music awareness and culture of the society.
