Chamber Music Concert with Cihat Aşkın - 15.02.2020
The “Chamber Music Concert with Cihat Aşkın”, organized within the scope of OMU 1923 Scientific Research Projects (BAP), was hosted by the Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Art Center. Among the audience were Prof. Dr. Ferit Bulut, Director of the OMU State Conservatory; the concert coordinators, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Eren Arın and Dr. Pınar Beşevli Solmaz; faculty members, students, and classical music enthusiasts from Samsun.
The performers included the renowned violin virtuoso and faculty member of Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, Prof. Dr. Cihat Aşkın; Kenan Tatlıcı (Piano), Lecturer at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts; Emin Ersöz Yiğit (Piano), Research Assistant at OMU State Conservatory; and Barış Aygün (Cello), a master’s student at the OMU Institute of Fine Arts, Music Department.
*Lecturer Kenan Tatlıcı participated in the concert in place of Assoc. Prof. Gökhan Aybulus from Anadolu University State Conservatory, who was unable to attend.
