Our Conservatory's Music Department Faculty Member, Prof. Seyhan Bulut, participated in the Erasmus Staff Mobility program in the city of Monopoli, Italy, from November 27th to December 2nd 2023.
During her visit, Bulut conducted a masterclass with flute students at the Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, which has an Erasmus agreement with Ondokuz Mayıs University. She presented examples from compositions by Turkish composers for the flute repertoire and collaborated with Prof. Antonino Maddonni, the faculty member in the guitar department, to perform a small concert. Finally, on December 2nd 2023, Bulut, along with Maddonni, gave a public flute-guitar concert.
Antonino Maddonni and Flavio Maddonni, faculty members at Monopoli Nino Rota Conservatory, had previously visited our Conservatory in 2019 as part of the Erasmus Teaching Mobility program. During their stay, they conducted masterclass sessions with our students and performed a violin-guitar concert.
